What is it with phone manufacturers and their first WAP enabled devices? Did we miss the part of the specs that said "thou shalt make a phone that is difficult to use?" We suspect in an effort to make the phone simple Motorola have over engineered it. For example to exit the browser you have to press an unmarked button on the side of the phone - not immediately obvious to those of us that don't read manuals. Another essential function that is cryptically hidden is access to the browser menu (select internet access and then hold down the menu key - be warned your phone will probably continue to make the data call). You can modify the usual parameters such as dial up access and WAP gateway however there are two obvious omissions - the home page and bookmarks! You cannot set or store either on this phone. Therefore you are going to be resticted to what your operator has listed on their portal. This is harping back to the "walled garden" scenario - a time we hope is now over.
